PRIVACY NOTICE PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 13 OF EU REGULATION 2016/679 AND TO THE APPLICABLE LEGISLATION

 

Pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679, as well as to the applicable legislation on Privacy, Suzuki Italia S.p.A., with registered office in Turin, Via Ettore De Sonnaz 19, the Data Controller of your personal data (from now on, also the "Company"), in the person of its Legal Representative, provides you with the following privacy notice regarding their use.

Purpose of the processing for which the data are intended

Your data, including but not limited to your CV, portfolio, other related documents, and any other material provided during the selection process (the "Material"), will be processed by the Company for the following purposes:

  • personnel search and selection: data will be used to assess the skills, qualifications and suitability of applicants for open positions, and to manage the entire selection process, including interviews and reference checks;
  • communication with applicants: contact details will be used to communicate with the applicants regarding the status of their application and for any requests for additional information.

The Company acknowledges that the applicants are the sole and exclusive owners of the Material and will retain all intellectual property rights, title and interest in the Material. In any case, the applicants grant the Company a limited right of use for the duration of the selection process for the sole purposes stated above.

If the Company intends to use the collected personal data for any other purpose that is incompatible with the purposes for which it was originally collected or authorised, the Company will inform the applicant in advance, possibly obtaining consent for further processing of the data.

Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for data processing lies in the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at your request.

Obligation to provide data

The provision of personal data is optional but necessary for the pursuit of the above purposes; therefore, refusal to provide your personal data could prevent the Company from carrying out its search and selection activities and prevent your application from being taken into consideration.

Modalities of data processing

In relation to the aforementioned purposes, the processing of personal data may take place by means of manual, computerised and telematic tools, with logics strictly related to the purposes themselves and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data.

Data retention

In accordance with the principles of proportionality and necessity, data will not be kept for longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes set out above, unless required by law.

Communication and circulation of data

The data will not be circulated and/or communicated.

Your data may be disclosed (even only in part) to the authorised persons in charge of the processing, who are responsible for pursuing the purposes described above.

Rights of data subjects

The persons to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them are being processed and, if so, to obtain access to the data and information referred to in Article 15 of the Regulation, to obtain a copy of such data or to have it corrected (Articles 15 and 16 of the Regulation).
Furthermore, data subjects have the right to request the deletion, restriction of processing, portability of data as well as to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority and to object in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their processing (Art. 17 ff. of the Regulation).
